Informazioni sul prodotto
2-Methoxy-8-nitroquinoline is a lactam that has been shown in the reduction of redox potentials. It also has an intramolecular hydrogen bond, which may be due to its pharmacophore. 2-Methoxy-8-nitroquinoline is stable and soluble in water and shows a low toxicity. This drug has been shown to be effective against leishmania infantum and Leishmania, with a half life of 10 hours in human albumin. The nitro group on 2-methoxy-8-nitroquinoline makes it more soluble in lipids and therefore more potent. 2-Methoxy-8-nitroquinoline has been shown to inhibit hepg2 cells through diffraction experiments, which may be due to its ability to bind at the hepg2 cell membrane site.
