Descrizione:Glycyrrhisoflavone is a natural compound found in the roots of Glycyrrhiza uralensis. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of herpes simplex virus (HSV) in tissue culture and to reduce the severity of symptoms associated with HSV infections. This compound also inhibits protein synthesis, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the activity of protein kinase C.
