Descrizione:PSMA-11 is a positron-emitting metal chelate that is used in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. It is administered as a diagnostic agent and has been shown to be clinically relevant for prostate cancer diagnosis. PSMA-11 has shown to have pharmacokinetic properties that can be retrospectively analyzed by measuring the amount of radioactivity in the patient's urine, which is indicative of the amount of PSMA-11 absorbed by the body. This biomarker can also be used for assessing the effectiveness of radiation therapy in patients with prostate cancer. PSMA-11 has been shown to bind to the human serum albumin, which may contribute to its pharmacokinetic properties. The imaging properties of PSMA-11 are still being explored but it has been found to show promise for use as a diagnostic agent in early stages of prostate cancer.
