Descrizione

D-Salicin is a natural product that has been isolated from the bark of the willow tree. Salicin is an acidic glucoside, which means it contains one molecule of glucose and one molecule of salicylic acid. In this experiment, D-salicin was extracted by boiling water and then filtered through paper. The extract was then purified by heating at 100°C for 30 minutes to remove impurities. The purified extract was then treated with β-glucosidase enzyme and heated at a temperature range of 40°C to 80°C. At the end of this process, the product had a final concentration of 5mg/mL. This extract can be used in the development of new drugs for pain relief or as an antioxidant.
