Descrizione:Sapienic acid is a fatty acid that is found in the skin of fish and shellfish. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in mice with autoimmune diseases by inhibiting the production of inflammatory cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor. Sapienic acid has also been shown to inhibit insulin resistance in mice by reducing inflammation and increasing insulin sensitivity. This acid also inhibits the growth of bacteria through its ability to inhibit receptor activity and fatty acid biosynthesis. It has been shown to be beneficial for cancer treatment by inhibiting cell proliferation in vitro.
