Descrizione:Cyclohexyl(cyclopentyl)methanone is a benzonitrile derivative with a cyclopentyl and cyclohexyl side chain. It can be synthesized by the reaction of phenylmagnesium bromide with methyl benzoate in the presence of sodium borohydride. Cyclohexyl(cyclopentyl)methanone is used as a reagent for the conversion of ketones to aminoketones, and can also be used in hydrolysis reactions involving Grignard reagents.
