Descrizione:(R,R)-Formoterol is a drug that acts as a beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. It is used in the treatment of chronic bronchitis and other respiratory diseases. (R,R)-Formoterol has been shown to increase the diameter of airways in human lungs and to decrease levels of camp in the blood. This drug also increases cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels by stimulating adenyl cyclase activity. The clinical studies have shown that this drug is not toxic to humans and has an elimination half-life of approximately 3 hours.
