Informazioni sul prodotto
2-[4-Chloro-6-[4-(2-naphthyl)-2-thiazolylamino]-2-pyrimidinylthio]octanoic acid (KLZ) is a potent inhibitor of the human alpha 2C adrenergic receptor, as well as a potent activator of the human beta 1A adrenergic receptor. KLZ binds to and blocks the activity of the alpha 2C adrenergic receptor, which is responsible for mediating the effects of norepinephrine on blood pressure and heart rate. KLZ has been shown to significantly lower blood pressure in animal models. KLZ also induces vasoconstriction by activating beta 1A receptors in vascular smooth muscle cells. It is a white crystalline solid that can be dissolved in water or DMSO.
