Descrizione:KRIBB 11 is a potent inhibitor of protein synthesis that blocks translation initiation by binding to the 40S ribosomal subunit. KRIBB 11 has been shown to induce autophagy in vitro and in vivo and inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells. The compound has also been shown to be active against endometriosis, a condition where tissue from the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, and tuberculosis. It targets proteins involved in cancer cell survival such as Mcl-1 and Vivo human activated protein kinase (PAK).
