Descrizione:Mavacamten is a molecule that stabilizes myosin and has a cardioprotective effect. It inhibits the progression of cardiomyopathy by increasing the synthesis of cardiomyocyte proteins, including the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). Mavacamten is also able to inhibit the filamentous actin in cardiac muscle cells, which may be related to its pharmacological treatment. Mavacamten can inhibit the caco-2 cell growth and induce apoptosis, but it does not have an inhibitory effect on cellular metabolism or on biochemical reactions. The symptoms of mavacamten are related to its ability to inhibit cardiac muscle contraction and relaxation.
