Descrizione:Potassium disulfitopalladate(II) is a white powder with a melting point of 170-172°C. It has a low solubility in water and glycerin. This compound is used as an analytical reagent to detect the presence of sulfites in wine, beer, and other foods. Potassium disulfitopalladate(II) is not sensitive to light and does not discolor. It can be used for the diagnosis of sulfite sensitivity by measuring its optical absorbance at 360 nm in the presence of monoxide gas. The detection limit for potassium disulfitopalladate(II) is 0.1 ppm (10 ppb).
