Descrizione:Cilofexor is a c-c chemokine receptor antagonist that blocks the inflammatory response by inhibiting the binding of chemokines to this receptor. Cilofexor has been shown to reduce bile acid levels in serum and to improve bowel disease, such as ulcerative colitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis. Cilofexor may be used for the treatment of cirrhosis, where it reduces fibrosis and improves liver function. Cilofexor acts as a growth factor and inhibits inflammatory bowel disease by down-regulating cytokines and preventing neutrophil infiltration. It also prevents hepatic steatosis by decreasing fatty acid biosynthesis and reducing lipid accumulation in the liver.
