Descrizione:HO-1-in-1 is a small molecule that inhibits tumorigenesis and metastasis by inhibiting the transcription of DNA methyltransferase 1 (Dnmt1) and hypermethylation of DNA. HO-1-in-1 also suppresses cancer cell growth, migration, and invasion in vitro and in vivo. HO-1-in-1 has been shown to inhibit the growth of breast cancer cells in vitro by targeting Dnmt1. Furthermore, it has been shown to inhibit tumor formation in mice with skin cancer after topical application. This drug has also been shown to reduce tumor size in a xenograft model of prostate cancer. The use of HO-1-in-1 may be an effective strategy for preventing or treating some cancers.
