Descrizione:Desmethyl phenazolam is a benzodiazepine that is structurally related to the drugs clonazepam, oxazepam and nitrazepam. It has been shown to have anticonvulsant, anxiolytic, muscle relaxant and amnesic properties. Desmethyl phenazolam is metabolized by CYP2C19, CYP3A4 and CYP2C9 into an active metabolite with the same molecular weight as the parent compound. The drug has been evaluated for use in clinical trials for drug development but has not yet received regulatory approval.
