Descrizione:Isoscoparin is a fatty acid with a ph optimum of 7. It has been found to be present in food composition such as milk, cheese, butter, and eggs. Isoscoparin can be used as an alternative to the drug isoprenaline for the treatment of heart disease. Isoscoparin has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity against k562 cells and biological studies have suggested its mechanism of action may be due to its ability to inhibit lipoprotein lipase and the synthesis of cholesterol. This drug has also been shown to have anti-cancer properties by inhibiting the growth of cryptococcus neoformans.
