Informazioni sul prodotto
Tetrahydromagnolol is a natural product found in the Lonicera japonica plant. It inhibits protein synthesis by binding to the mRNA and preventing translation of proteins. Tetrahydromagnolol also binds to response elements, which are regions of DNA that control transcription, and has been shown to inhibit transcription by binding to polymerase chain reaction (PCR) products. This inhibition causes a chain reaction that results in the formation of resistant mutants. Tetrahydromagnolol also has anti-cancer properties; it has been shown to bind actin filaments and calmodulin, which leads to the inhibition of cell proliferation and cell death.
