Descrizione

DL-Methysticin is a drug that is used in the preparation of samples for analytical methods such as preparative HPLC. It also induces drug interactions with 5-HT, which leads to increased concentrations of this neurotransmitter. DL-Methysticin has been shown to induce neuronal death and is not recommended for use in patients with ischemic brain damage. The drug may be used in the treatment of infectious diseases, but it should be administered cautiously due to its significant interactions with acetate extract and fatty acid.
