BC-LI-0186 is a synthetase inhibitor that has been shown to be an effective chemotherapeutic agent against various cancers. Specifically, BC-LI-0186 is effective against human liver cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. It also induces autophagy, which may be due to its ability to inhibit protein synthesis. BC-LI-0186 has been shown to have anti-infective properties against bacteria, fungi, and viruses.
