Descrizione:Olmesartan-d4 Acid is a synthetic drug that has antihypertensive activity. It is an angiotensin receptor antagonist and it binds to the angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor in order to inhibit the binding of angiotensin II and its effects on blood pressure regulation. Olmesartan-d4 acid has been used as a research tool for studying the subtype of AT1 receptors, as well as for identifying other drugs that might be used to treat hypertension. It has also been shown to be effective at reducing cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure in animal models.
