Descrizione:Antalarmin (Hydrochloride) is a glucocorticoid receptor agonist. It has been shown to have maldevelopment effects on synaptic morphology and function, as well as adverse effects on the developing brain in neonatal rats. Antalarmin hydrochloride binds to the glucocorticoid receptors and mimics the action of cortisol by binding to DNA and activating gene transcription. The drug has shown efficacy in treating patients with Cushing's syndrome, based on its ability to decrease adrenocortical hormone secretion.
