Descrizione:Mal-AMCHC-OSu is a cyclic peptide that has been shown to have high affinity for human serum albumin. It has been used to produce diagnostic agents that are specific for epidermal growth factor (EGF) and can be used to diagnose choroidal neovascularization in patients with age-related macular degeneration. The anti-cancer effect of Mal-AMCHC-OSu has been observed in mice with urothelial carcinoma, bladder, and stomach cancer. Mal-AMCHC-OSu inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells by binding to EGFR on the cell surface, blocking its activation. This drug also has an inhibitory effect on the growth of bladder cancer cells by interfering with the production of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and erythropoietin (EPO).
