Descrizione:ZD7155 hydrochloride is a selective antagonist of the AT1 receptor (AT1R). It blocks the binding of angiotensin to the AT1 receptor and prevents activation of downstream signaling pathways. ZD7155 hydrochloride has been shown to inhibit whole-cell mediated responses in cultured rat cardiomyocytes, and specifically inhibits cell factor-dependent tyrosine kinase activity and subsequent angiotensin II-mediated phosphorylation of focal adhesion kinase. The drug also inhibits IL10-induced signal transduction, which may be due to its antagonistic effects on IL10 receptor.
