Descrizione:SR146131 is a selective agonist of the cannabinoid type 1 receptor. It has been shown to inhibit the release of histamine from mast cells in vitro and to have analgesic effects in vivo, both of which are mediated by the CB1 receptor. SR146131 is an orally active compound that has been shown to be a specific agonist for the CB1 receptor. In addition, SR146131 has been found to be a potent inhibitor of gastric acid secretion in rats. The molecule contains a guanylate moiety and an aminopropyl side chain with an aromatic ring attached at the alpha-carbon. The chemical formula for SR146131 is C22H27N7O2S or CHNO.
