Gossypetin-7-glucoside is a flavonol glycoside that can be found in plants of the genus Gossypium. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory activity, which may be due to its structural similarity to indole alkaloids and its ability to inhibit osteoclast formation. Gossypetin-7-glucoside has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on PC12 cells, which may be due to its hydroxyl group.
