Descrizione

Haemanthamine is a basic protein that is found in the amaryllidaceae family. It has inhibitory properties and can be used to treat cancer cells. Haemanthamine has been shown to induce apoptosis, or programmed cell death, in cancer cells. It also inhibits mitochondrial functions and has been shown to have potential anticancer activity in vitro. Haemanthamine is also potent inducers of alkaloids and natural compounds.
