Descrizione

Pangelin is a genus of plants in the family Rutaceae. It is used as a traditional medicine for chronic bronchitis and asthma. Pangelin has been shown to have radical scavenging activities, which may be due to its coumarin derivatives. Pangelin also has antidiabetic properties, which may be due to its furocoumarins. The chemical structures of pangelin are not well understood because it is difficult to isolate this plant from the soil.
