Descrizione

Mobocertinib is an anti-cancer drug that binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and inhibits its activity. It is used in the treatment of solid tumours, including those that are resistant to platinum-based chemotherapy. Mobocertinib has been shown to be potent against a range of cancers, both pediatric and adult, including cancer tissues from urothelial carcinoma, PD-L1 positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and NSCLC with pd-l1 negative status. Using LC-MS/MS, the pharmacokinetics of mobocertinib have been determined in human plasma. The drug binds tightly to plasma proteins such as albumin and alpha 1 acid glycoprotein (AAG). Mobocertinib is metabolized by CYP3A4 and CYP3A5 into active metabolites.
