Descrizione:Mianserin is a synthetic drug that is used as an antibiotic and antiparasitic. It is not active against viruses or fungi. Mianserin has been shown to have potent antibacterial activity, with MIC values of 0.5-2 µg/mL for Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus faecalis. Mianserin also has antiparasitic effects, and has been shown to inhibit the growth of Plasmodium falciparum at concentrations of 1-1.5 µg/mL in vitro.
