Alpha-(4-fluorophenyl)-4-(5-fluoro-2-pyrimidinyl)-1-piperazine butanol has been shown to inhibit the activity of hydroxylase, which converts dopamine into norepinephrine, and thus may contribute to its antipsychotic properties.
