Applications 2-​(Chloromethyl)​allyl-​trimethylsilane is one of the reagents to synthesize Leucasandrolide A Macrolide (I) via Mukaiyama aldol coupling.2-​(Chloromethyl)​allyl-​trimethylsilane was used in catalytic Sakurai reaction of α,​β-​enones.
