Applications 4-Dimethylaminobutyric Acid Hydrochloride-d6 is an intermediate in synthesizing 4-​(Dimethyloxidoamino)​butanoic Acid-d6 Hydrochloride (D447162), which is a labelled form of 4-​(Dimethyloxidoamino)​butanoic Acid (D447160). 4-​(Dimethyloxidoamino)​butanoic Acid is a metabolite of Lauramine Oxide (L178530), which is a frequently used amine oxide surfactant. It is strongly hydrophilic , and it forms normal micelles and normal liquid crystalline phases. 4-Dimethylaminobutyric Acid Hydrochloride-d6 is also a labelled analogue of 4-Dimethylaminobutyric Acid Hydrochloride (D456545), which acts as a reagent for the design, synthesis and in the biological evaluation of novel water-soluble prodrug of Docetaxel with amino acid as linkers.
