Applications Phenylglyoxylic Acid-13C8 is an intermediate used in the synthesis of Mandelic Acid-13C8 (M162523), which is the C13 labelled Mandelic Acid which is used as an antiseptic (urinary). It is also used as a short-term exposure biomarker in urine from styrene exposed workers.
