Description:
N,N'-Diacetyl-L-cystine (DiNAC) acts as an immunomodulator. According to studies of Petterson et al. the cystine derivative induces brachial artery vasodilation at rest and during hyperemia in hypercholesterolemic subjects. Immunomodulation with DiNAC could be a new approach in the treatment of atherosclerosis.
