Description

Trichloroethylene is used as solvent for paints, dyes, waxes, oils, fats and resins, as an additive in polymerization reactions, as a reactant to prepare various halohydrocarbons (1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane) and other chemicals, as a coolant for cutting tantalum and acts as good heat transfer medium.
