Description:
This Reagecon Density Standard Quality Range 0.7109 g/mL at 40C is manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM D4052 for testing of density or relative density (specific and API gravity). It is tested by vibrational densitometer and can be used as a calibration or control standard for density measurement by vibrational or hydrometer (specific gravity) based techniques.
- Reagecon holds ISO 17025 Accreditation for testing density standards using vibrational densitometers (INAB Ref: 264T). The product is prepared gravimetrically on a weight/weight basis. Both solute and solvent are weighed on a balance calibrated by OIML traceable weights. Reagecon holds ISO 17025 Accreditation for calibration of laboratory balances (INAB Ref: 265C). The resulting Balance Certificate of Calibration is issued in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. The density of the product is established and certified using high performance calibrated vibrational densitometers.
