Description

Phenylurethane is a chemical compound that is synthesized to be used as a solvent in organic synthesis. This product can be used in the preparation of cationic polymers, which are important for the production of coating materials. Phenylurethane reacts with methyl ethyl hydroxide to form an intramolecular hydrogen bond, which produces a synergic effect with hexyl isocyanate and an inorganic acid. This reaction mechanism leads to the formation of protein synthesis inhibitors, such as hydroxyphenylureas and phenylureas.
