N-Carbamoylmaleamic acid is a molecule that belongs to the class of aliphatic hydrocarbons. It has a molecular weight of 110.06 and is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor. N-Carbamoylmaleamic acid can be synthesized from maleic anhydride and hydrochloric acid in the presence of esterification catalysts such as aluminum chloride or zinc chloride.
