Description

Methohexital is an anaesthetic drug used to induce deep sedation. It binds to a site associated with Cl- ionopore at the GABA(A) receptor. This allows for an increase in the time for which Cl- is open. This drug is a barbiturate and is used for short surgeries, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
