2-[4-Chloro-5-cyclopropyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]acetohydrazide is a hydrazide that has potent antifungal activity. It is an imidazole derivative and works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, which is an important component of fungal cell membranes. 2-[4-Chloro-5-cyclopropyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]acetohydrazide has been shown to have antiinflammatory activity, as well as inhibitory effects on acid production in the stomach. Elemental analysis shows that this compound contains carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, chlorine and fluorine.
