Product Information
2-Benzothiazolesulfonyl chloride (2BTSCl) is a reactive monomer that is used in the synthesis of biomolecules. It is an amide with an endogenous nucleophilic group and a chloride group. 2BTSCl has been shown to be a good ligand for some fluorescent probes, such as luciferin. In addition, 2BTSCl is able to act as a fluorescent probe itself. The reactivity of 2BTSCl can be demonstrated by its efficient method for visualizing active sites on proteins.
