3-Fluorocyclobutyl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate is a fluorinated benzenesulfonamide that is used in cancer research. 3-Fluorocyclobutyl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate has been shown to have anti-tumor activity against lung carcinoma cells, as well as tumor cell lines. In vitro stability studies have shown that the compound is metabolically stable and does not accumulate in rat plasma. This drug has been radiolabeled with positron emission tomography (PET) for use in imaging human lung tumors.
