Description:
Trioctyl Phosphite is a mixture of three peroxide compounds, each with a hydrocarbon group. The phosphorous acid ester is polymerized by the addition of magnesium, forming a viscosity-enhancing cross-linking agent. Trioctyl Phosphite is used in the manufacture of silicone elastomers, where it provides stability and prevents degradation. It is also used as a stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
