Gallion is also a growth factor that binds to neurotrophic factors and suppressor genes, which regulates the expression of genes involved in cell growth. Culturally, Gallion has been shown to be more prevalent among women than men, with prognosis being better for women who are diagnosed with cervical cancer when they are younger than 50 years old.
