H-Ala-Leu-Ala-OH is a synthetic peptide that has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of the human aminopeptidase. It is synthesized on a solid phase and then purified from the resin. The H-Ala-Leu-Ala-OH peptide was found to have a ph optimum of 7 and can be used for the treatment of skin infections caused by fungi such as Metarhizium anisopliae, which are resistant to conventional treatments. This peptide inhibits the synthesis of proteins in fungal cells and prevents the growth of the fungus.
