5-Amino-1-pentanol is a nucleophilic agent that is used in chemical reactions such as hydroxylation, alkylation, and substitution. It reacts with electrophilic sites on the substrate molecule to form products through nucleophilic substitutions. 5-Amino-1-pentanol has been shown to be effective for the treatment of cancer tissue by inhibiting protein synthesis and inducing apoptosis.
