Product Information
2-Amino-3-chlorophenol is an organic chemical that is used in the development of chemical compounds. It can be found as the cis or trans isomers. cis-2-Amino-3-chlorophenol has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of tubule cells in vitro and cisplatin, a chemotherapeutic agent, and ligand for tubulin. When exposed to light, 2-amino 3-chlorophenol undergoes phototransformation to form 2,4,5,6-tetrahydroxyphenylacetic acid (THPA), which is then excreted by the kidneys. The reaction time between 2-amino 3-chlorophenol and light determines how much THPA is produced. In addition, THPA can react with other compounds such as glutathione to form conjugates and metabolites.
2-Amino 3 chlorophenol has also been shown to have antic
