Description

Ditalimfos is a malarial anthelmintic drug that belongs to the class of carbamates. It is effective against both erythrocytic and tissue stage malarial parasites. Ditalimfos has been used for the treatment of malaria, but it is no longer in use because it has been replaced by other drugs with better efficacy. It is currently used as a reference material in analytical chemistry. The method of detection is based on chromatography and can be used with different types of samples, such as water, soil, plants or animals. The reaction products are formed by hydrolysis or oxidation and are detected using colorimetric or fluorometric methods.
