Description

3-Cyclohexylpropionyl chloride is a synthetic, organometallic compound that is structurally related to morpholine. It has been found to have anticancer activity and was used as a catalyst for the synthesis of other compounds. 3-Cyclohexylpropionyl chloride has also been demonstrated to be an effective treatment for metabolic disorders in cryptococcus neoformans. The structural isomers of 3-cyclohexylpropionyl chloride have differing effects on cancer cells, with one isomer demonstrating cytotoxicity against cancer cells in vitro.
