Description

1-Chlorodecane is a chlorinated hydrocarbon that has been used as an industrial solvent and as a chemical intermediate. It is also an important component of petroleum refining, where it is used in the production of lubricating oils. 1-Chlorodecane is soluble in water and can be removed by wastewater treatment processes and thermal expansion methods. 1-Chlorodecane has a high resistance to oxidation, making it useful for the synthesis of fluorescence compounds.
