Description

2,4-Dimethylpyrrole-3-carboxylic acid ethyl ester is a reagent that is used in the industrial production of acetoacetate and dialkylamides. It is also used as a ligand in low yield nitrite reduction to ammonia. 2,4-Dimethylpyrrole-3-carboxylic acid ethyl ester reacts with benzoyl chloride to produce an amide that can be used as a starting material for the synthesis of several compounds.
